It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 27th minute, but Bryce Callaghan got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Chelsea Dream hanging dry this time. Bryce Callaghan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Birrell Burmeister, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Birrell Burmeister fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryce Callaghan having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Birrell Burmeister made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Carl Oneill hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luke Cordrey in the 62nd minute of play forced Chelsea Dream's goalkeeper Bryce Callaghan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Chelsea Dream defense, Al Gannan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bryce Callaghan. The Chelsea Dream fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bryce Callaghan should have stopped the shot. Bryce Callaghan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birrell Burmeister in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Luke Cordrey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Chelsea Dream's goal looked a bit too open when Birrell Burmeister came free, but Bryce Callaghan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
