In the 15th minute of the match, Jarrett Jeffress got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jason Adamson was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Jason Adamson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyde Ashby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jarrett Jeffress could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Jason Adamson made a huge save. Jason Adamson made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Jarrett Jeffress sent off a good shot on target. Herbert Starling kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Jarrett Jeffress in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jason Adamson, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pilbara Palisades's Jason Adamson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Pilbara Palisades from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the match, Pilbara Palisades's goalkeeper Jason Adamson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarrett Jeffress. Jarrett Jeffress who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Jason Adamson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dani Block in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paco Giddey saved New Gen FC from getting behind. Matthias Shearn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthias Shearn made a kick off. In the 59th minute, Herbert Starling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, New Gen FC's Benny Buckland got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute of the match Bray Haberle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paco Giddey skillfully saved the ball. Paco Giddey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dani Block in the 69th minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, New Gen FC's goalkeeper Paco Giddey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matthias Shearn. If Matthias Shearn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jason Adamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarrett Jeffress in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 77 minutes, Blake Nobes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Gen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blake Nobes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th match minute, Pilbara Palisades was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dakota Ritter to maneuver through the defense. If Blake Nobes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jason Adamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eavan Rutledge in the 84th minute of play. When New Gen FC's Jarrett Jeffress in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pilbara Palisades's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Pilbara Palisades's zone, Arthur Malacarne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jason Adamson came out of the goal and Arthur Malacarne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Benny Buckland fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New Gen FC's protests and gave Benny Buckland a yellow card for diving instead. Benny Buckland hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Matthias Shearn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matthias Shearn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paco Giddey having to interfere. Nash Withy lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 96th minute, one of New Gen FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for New Gen FC.
