True Balance FB's Dale Lorenz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bray Millar in the 3rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Carsyn Howarth kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dale Lorenz. That made the score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. Ivan Aliendi's late challenge caught a Clanside FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Aliendi helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Clanside FC booed when True Balance FB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivan Aliendi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dale Lorenz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Mcquinn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dale Lorenz made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Carsyn Howarth sent off a good shot on target. If Luke Cordrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to True Balance FB getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Jeffers Belford hit a great ball. Carsyn Howarth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 30th minute, Darell Castner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 32 in the game by Carsyn Howarth from a close distance when the talented Dale Lorenz managed to make a qualified save. True Balance FB's players were relieved. Darin Gracey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luke Cordrey in the 34th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Clanside FC's goal looked a bit too open when Birrell Burmeister came free, but Darin Gracey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Clanside FC's goal looked a bit too open when Al Gannan came free, but Darin Gracey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darin Gracey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Al Gannan in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute Luke Cordrey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darin Gracey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bray Millar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The True Balance FB fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when True Balance FB's Luke Cordrey looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to True Balance FB getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Luke Cordrey hit a great ball. Carsyn Howarth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Lorenz having to interfere. Martin Shipman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Darin Gracey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ike Erwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Lorenz having to interfere. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind True Balance FB's goalkeeper Dale Lorenz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Al Gannan charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Al Gannan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, True Balance FB's Al Gannan got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, Carsyn Howarth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Clanside FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. With a little luck, Clanside FC's Darin Gracey got control of the ball when Darell Castner tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84th minute Carsyn Howarth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darin Gracey was a little too slow when Al Gannan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 3-2. With a little luck, Clanside FC's Darin Gracey got control of the ball when Luke Cordrey tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Birrell Burmeister ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Darin Gracey was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
