Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarrett Jeffress in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Butterworth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When New Gen FC's Jarrett Jeffress in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baxter Carbery made a kick off. Brookdale's Alberto Butterworth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Brookdale from getting a goal against them. 54 minutes into the match, Jarrett Jeffress notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Brookdale's Alberto Butterworth. Alberto Butterworth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Brookdale's zone, Jarrett Jeffress stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Butterworth came out of the goal and Jarrett Jeffress tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, one of New Gen FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for New Gen FC. After 74 played minutes Brookdale got a freekick which was hit by Pierre Warhurst. After 75 played minutes New Gen FC got a freekick which was hit by Nash Withy. Baxter Carbery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Paco Giddey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paco Giddey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ray Meyers, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Baxter Carbery got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blake Nobes got free with Alberto Butterworth in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Butterworth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyde Ashby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Bernie Paddle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Blake Nobes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Butterworth having to interfere. New Gen FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
