Spectators: 8086 (Terracing: 6112, Seating: 1874, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bray Millar started the match with the kick off. When Rudolph Flisfeder fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hackham's protests and gave Rudolph Flisfeder a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Rudolph Flisfeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Justin Kirkham's late challenge caught a Clanside FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Justin Kirkham helped the player get up and apologised. Carsyn Howarth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Abe Andrusiow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abe Andrusiow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bray Millar, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. With his leg Abe Andrusiow managed to avoid a goal in the 13thth minute, when Clanside FC's Carsyn Howarth fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Carsyn Howarth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Abe Andrusiow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darin Gracey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birrell Macumber in the 19th minute of the match. Darin Gracey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolph Butterfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ike Erwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abe Andrusiow having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Fabian Mcquinn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hackham's Abe Andrusiow was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hackham's goalkeeper Abe Andrusiow, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Adolph Butterfield's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Darin Gracey was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 44th minute of the match Jackson Jobson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Darin Gracey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 47 minutes into the match, Clanside FC's goal looked a bit too open when Birrell Macumber came free, but Darin Gracey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

After having played for 57 minutes, Bray Millar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clanside FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bray Millar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute Carsyn Howarth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abe Andrusiow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Abe Andrusiow showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cliff Cameron in the 63rd minute of the match. A collision led to Hackham getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Rudolph Flisfeder hit a great ball. Abe Andrusiow showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bray Millar, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bray Millar in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abe Andrusiow prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hackham's Abe Andrusiow played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carsyn Howarth in the 81st minute of play. Abe Andrusiow didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carsyn Howarth went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Abe Andrusiow made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bray Millar in the 91st minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Hackham's Dane Cubit seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dane Cubit the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hackham protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dane Cubit had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Hackham:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clanside FC:s goal. The referee gave Clanside FC a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Roger Kennedy, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hackham's Abe Andrusiow. 2-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Clanside FC had played much better football throughout.
