After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Luke Cordrey managed to get in a good position for a shot. True Balance FB's supporters rose to their feet, but Luke Cordrey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dante Clubley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 7 played minutes, Chelsea's Jarvis Castray shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dale Lorenz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chelsea reached it. Luke Cordrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luke Cordrey's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Clubley firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Chelsea's Jamese Oreilly got a free kick in the 15th minute. Dale Lorenz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tobie Bleazard's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Dante Clubley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Birrell Burmeister in the 20th minute of play. Luke Cordrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dante Clubley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 29 minutes, Luke Cordrey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. True Balance FB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luke Cordrey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dante Clubley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Birrell Burmeister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Jess Beer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, True Balance FB's Adolfo Travers tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Adolfo Travers took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dante Clubley. Chelsea's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Birrell Burmeister made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea's zone, Luke Cordrey stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Clubley came out of the goal and Luke Cordrey tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tobie Bleazard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luke Cordrey in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Clubley saved Chelsea from getting behind. Dante Clubley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luke Cordrey, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. A collision led to Chelsea getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Jamese Oreilly hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Chelsea's Jess Beer got a free kick in the 70th minute. Luke Cordrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chelsea's Dante Clubley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birrell Burmeister in the 76th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Luke Cordrey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dante Clubley was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Jess Beer kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Luke Cordrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luke Cordrey in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. Luke Cordrey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Dante Clubley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. True Balance FB were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Chelsea for a fine match.
