With a little luck, Pilbara Palisades's Jason Adamson got control of the ball when Nathan Beaverley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jason Adamson came out of the goal and Nathan Beaverley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 62 minutes, Thomas Christini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilbara Palisades's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomas Christini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Soccer Club 2020 getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Nathan Beaverley hit a great ball. In the 68th minute of the match Kale Burton sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jason Adamson skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Pilbara Palisades getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Burt Kinnaird hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dani Claringbold in the 72nd minute of play forced Pilbara Palisades's goalkeeper Jason Adamson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Soccer Club 2020 booed when Pilbara Palisades was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Christini didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damon Cusbert charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Barnard Korff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Soccer Club 2020's Barnard Korff got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Nathan Beaverley blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jason Adamson having to make a save. The Pilbara Palisades players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Soccer Club 2020 from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
