Spectators: 6829 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1829, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Baxter Carbery started the match with the kick off. Bernie Paddle hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Alberto Butterworth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kane Erwin in the 13th minute of play. In the 14thth minute of the game Loud Alcock who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brookdale's Alberto Butterworth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Butterworth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kane Erwin in the 15th minute of the match. If Kane Erwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loud Alcock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 23 minutes, Edmund Wayland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dribblers FC and the Brookdale players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 23rd match minute, Dribblers FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmund Wayland to maneuver through the defense. After 27 minutes of play, Dribblers FC's Loud Alcock made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Butterworth was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute, Tobie Maslin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led to Dribblers FC's Fabrizio Dollamore getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The supporters of Brookdale booed when Dribblers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barth Ancell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Dribblers FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd match minute, Brookdale was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berke Claringbold to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Dribblers FC's zone, Ray Meyers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryan Death came out of the goal and Ray Meyers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 73rd minute, Ray Meyers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Baxter Carbery notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Dribblers FC's Bryan Death. Bryan Death was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bryan Death took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ray Meyers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brookdale's Alberto Butterworth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loud Alcock in the 81st minute of play. Bryan Death showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baxter Carbery, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Edmund Wayland managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dribblers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmund Wayland was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Butterworth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dribblers FC's Loud Alcock got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Kane Erwin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dribblers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Kane Erwin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Butterworth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Dribblers FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
