Jason Adamson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Howie Curtis. Jayden Spurr's late challenge caught a Pilbara Palisades's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jayden Spurr helped the player get up and apologised. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea Dream's zone, Damon Cusbert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryce Callaghan came out of the goal and Damon Cusbert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Carl Oneill charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carl Oneill the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 played minutes Chelsea Dream got a freekick which was hit by Carl Oneill. Pilbara Palisades's Damon Cusbert got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adolfo Thomas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jason Adamson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute of the match Bray Haberle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bryce Callaghan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Chelsea Dream's Bryce Callaghan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Shearn in the 28th minute of play. Bryce Callaghan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthias Shearn in the 29th minute of play. Damon Cusbert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Matthias Shearn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilbara Palisades's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matthias Shearn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bock Dobbing during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, Chelsea Dream was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bock Dobbing to maneuver through the defense. Damon Cusbert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bryce Callaghan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea Dream's zone, Matthias Shearn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryce Callaghan came out of the goal and Matthias Shearn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matthias Shearn was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Adolfo Thomas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chelsea Dream's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pilbara Palisades the free kick. If Damon Cusbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chelsea Dream's zone, Matthias Shearn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bryce Callaghan came out of the goal and Matthias Shearn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jason Adamson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adolfo Thomas, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. The supporters of Pilbara Palisades booed when Chelsea Dream was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brice Ziliotto didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 67 played minutes Pilbara Palisades got a freekick which was hit by Burt Kinnaird. Adolfo Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Adamson having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolfo Thomas in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jason Adamson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the match, Chelsea Dream's goal looked a bit too open when Matthias Shearn came free, but Bryce Callaghan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Damon Cusbert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bryce Callaghan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Damon Cusbert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute, Norman Cridland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 91st match minute, Pilbara Palisades was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bray Haberle to maneuver through the defense. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
