When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Byrne Fallen sped through True Balance FB's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dale Lorenz. If Byrne Fallen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute Byrne Fallen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dale Lorenz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Kahmoomulga getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Bert Rishton hit a great ball. Adolfo Travers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Birrell Burmeister in the 16th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Brookes Mapps kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Zackery Lander struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Dale Lorenz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kahmoomulga. Luke Cordrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Kahmoomulga's Corey Boston got a free kick in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Byrne Fallen notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of True Balance FB's Dale Lorenz. Dale Lorenz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 33 minutes, Al Gannan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the True Balance FB and the Kahmoomulga players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Al Gannan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dale Lorenz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zackery Lander in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Kahmoomulga booed when True Balance FB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Al Gannan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 36 minutes into the match, True Balance FB's goal looked a bit too open when Byrne Fallen came free, but Dale Lorenz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes of play True Balance FB's Al Gannan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 39 played minutes True Balance FB got a freekick which was hit by Al Gannan. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Byrne Fallen in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dale Lorenz saved True Balance FB from getting behind. Zackery Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Lorenz having to interfere. After some careless play in the Kahmoomulga defense, Luke Cordrey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brookes Mapps. The Kahmoomulga fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brookes Mapps should have stopped the shot. Zackery Lander fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Lorenz having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luke Cordrey stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Byrne Fallen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Luke Cordrey fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored True Balance FB's protests and gave Luke Cordrey a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to True Balance FB getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Luke Cordrey hit a great ball. Zackery Landers short, quick shot in the 62ndth minute got Dale Lorenz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 66th minute of the match, Byrne Fallen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dale Lorenz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 72 played minutes Kahmoomulga got a freekick which was hit by Corey Boston. After a defensive mix-up in Kahmoomulga's zone, Adolfo Travers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brookes Mapps came out of the goal and Adolfo Travers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brookes Mapps took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luke Cordrey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luke Cordrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. True Balance FB's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Adolfo Travers in the 84th minute. The corner led True Balance FB's Adolfo Travers to fire away a dangerous shot which Brookes Mapps despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. When Byrne Fallen fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kahmoomulga's protests and gave Byrne Fallen a yellow card for diving instead. Byrne Fallen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Zackery Lander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Dale Lorenz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
