Adolfo Thomas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Butterworth having to interfere. Ray Meyers was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Brookdale's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Chelsea Dream's Bryce Callaghan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baxter Carbery in the 19th minute of play. If Ray Meyers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Brookdale's zone, Bock Dobbing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alberto Butterworth came out of the goal and Bock Dobbing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alberto Butterworth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adolfo Thomas in the 25th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Brookdale's goal looked a bit too open when Bock Dobbing came free, but Alberto Butterworth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Adolfo Thomas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chelsea Dream's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolfo Thomas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alberto Butterworth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
