Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Adolph Butterfield made the kick off which started today's match. Birrell Macumber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Birrell Macumber took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Butterworth. Alberto Butterworth dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Jeffers Nolan hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Hackham's Adolph Butterfield sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Butterworth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Birrell Macumber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Alberto Butterworth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abe Andrusiow was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baxter Carbery showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. If Adolph Butterfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernie Paddle kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Hackham booed when Brookdale was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olin Murphy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rex Pegrum, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 38 played minutes Brookdale got a freekick which was hit by Bernie Paddle. 40 minutes into the game, Rudolph Flisfeder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hackham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brookdale the free kick. In the 40th minute, Rudolph Flisfeder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Birrell Macumber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Butterworth having to interfere. A collision led to Brookdale getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jeffers Nolan hit a great ball. Hackham were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Brookdale's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rex Pegrum took the corner. Evan Crawford was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Birrell Macumber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Brookdale getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Bernie Paddle hit a great ball. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brookdale's goalkeeper Alberto Butterworth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Birrell Macumber struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Alberto Butterworth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hackham. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adolph Butterfield in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alberto Butterworth prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Ray Meyers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Butterworth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adolph Butterfield's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Brookdale's Alberto Butterworth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Brookdale from getting a goal against them. Adolph Butterfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 91 minutes, Adolph Butterfield managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hackham's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adolph Butterfield was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 94th minute, Olin Murphy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 95th minute, Birrell Macumber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hackham fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Hackham walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
