Corder Ambrose struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Doyle Coldicutt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eden. Eliot Eastman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Logan Favas in the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in The Cornhorns's zone, Remy Gilding stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Doyle Coldicutt came out of the goal and Remy Gilding tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Randle Bridson during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Randle Bridson kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. A hard and well directed shot from Brendan Tenser led 31 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. The Cornhorns's Doyle Coldicutt became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-0. After 34 minutes of play The Cornhorns's Randle Bridson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 34th minute, Randle Bridson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Logan Favas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cornhorns's Doyle Coldicutt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remy Gilding in the 44th minute of play. When Cliff Coote fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eden's protests and gave Cliff Coote a yellow card for diving instead. Cliff Coote hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Logan Favas managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Cornhorns's supporters rose to their feet, but Logan Favas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliot Eastman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Logan Favas made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, The Cornhorns's Bernie Schenck got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Doyle Coldicutt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corder Ambrose in the 58th minute of the match. Bernie Schenck charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 80th minute, Corder Ambrose ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Doyle Coldicutt was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Logan Favas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bernie Schenck scored 3-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eliot Eastman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Cornhorns's Bernie Schenck got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Corder Ambrose's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Doyle Coldicutt was relentless in the 96th minute of the game.
