Cregan Sugden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Brooks Mccartan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonty See in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Brooks Mccartan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sunnyside's Brooks Mccartan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonty See in the 41st minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angus Brophy couldn't finish the play. Brendan Holdsworth's late challenge caught a Sunnyside's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brendan Holdsworth helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Outliers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brendan Holdsworth to maneuver through the defense. Long Woods showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvin Devine in the 73rd minute of the match. The supporters of Sunnyside booed when Outliers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brendan Holdsworth didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 83 played minutes Sunnyside got a freekick which was hit by Matthews Brennan. Cregan Sugden kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Angus Brophy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brooks Mccartan having to interfere. Gregg Barugh might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Brooks Mccartan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gregg Barugh ran back to his position shaking his head. Outliers's Angus Brophy got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gregg Barugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregg Barugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brooks Mccartan having to interfere. Outliers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
