Spectators: 8094 (Terracing: 6072, Seating: 1861, VIP seats: 161) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anthony Tupman started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Sunshine Coast FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Broderick Featon to maneuver through the defense. Sunshine Coast FC's Fletcher Terris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Sunshine Coast FC from getting a goal against them. 7 minutes into the match, Anthony Tupman notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Sunshine Coast FC's Fletcher Terris. Fletcher Terris was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ronald Mcroberts's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmund Podowski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. If Murphy Garing had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Coldicutt kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Edmund Podowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brant Mcneven in the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes Peipei United got a freekick which was hit by Rob Oreilly. Edmund Podowski came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Sunshine Coast FC's Ronald Mcroberts. But to his dismay, Ronald Mcroberts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 30th minute of the match, Murphy Garing tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fletcher Terris saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Anthony Tupman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fletcher Terris having to make a save. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sunshine Coast FC's goalkeeper Fletcher Terris, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the game, Broderick Featon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sunshine Coast FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peipei United the free kick. Russel Cubit might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fletcher Terris. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Russel Cubit ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 40th minute Brant Mcneven shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmund Podowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brant Mcneven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edmund Podowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronald Mcroberts in the 44th minute of the match. Sunshine Coast FC's Fletcher Terris proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Sunshine Coast FC from getting a goal against them. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brant Mcneven to make the kick off. Fletcher Terris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murphy Garing, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Antonia Shearn fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sunshine Coast FC's protests and gave Antonia Shearn a yellow card for diving instead. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Peipei United. Casper Woods stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Fletcher Terris. 2-1. A collision led to Sunshine Coast FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ed Gummow hit a great ball. Fletcher Terris didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Peipei United's Anthony Tupman shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Murphy Garing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Fletcher Terris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 85 minutes into the match, Sunshine Coast FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anthony Tupman came free, but Fletcher Terris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fletcher Terris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anthony Tupman in the 92nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sunshine Coast FC's zone, Anthony Tupman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fletcher Terris came out of the goal and Anthony Tupman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th minute, Murphy Garing made a precise shot to the right of Fletcher Terris. Sunshine Coast FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Peipei United walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
