Spectators: 8014 (Terracing: 6012, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 159) Bindi FC's Brookes Barugh started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Bindi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Venz came free, but Matthew Mcenally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benjy Forrest showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brookes Barugh, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 8 minutes into the game, Bindi FC's Brookes Barugh nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benjy Forrest made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 13th match minute, Bindi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russ Houldsworth to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, JK Tammeka's Matthew Mcenally threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christian Venz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When JK Tammeka's Christian Venz in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bindi FC's goalie prevented a goal. Arneil Baxter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arneil Baxter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bindi FC's Brookes Barugh in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JK Tammeka's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice moves Arneil Baxter could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Matthew Mcenally however easily saved by the left post. Benjy Forrest showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brookes Barugh in the 35th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Bindi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Venz came free, but Matthew Mcenally reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bindi FC's zone, Arneil Baxter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matthew Mcenally came out of the goal and Arneil Baxter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Venz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benjy Forrest stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brookes Barugh's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Brookes Barugh recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Venz in the 62nd minute of play forced Bindi FC's goalkeeper Matthew Mcenally to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th match minute, Bindi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brookes Barugh to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Bindi FC booed when JK Tammeka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larry Tinsley didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Brookes Barugh's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjy Forrest was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game. After 73 played minutes JK Tammeka got a freekick which was hit by Loyd Mckay. The supporters of Bindi FC booed when JK Tammeka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrick Oconnell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Bindi FC's Bryanne Unicomb tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. JK Tammeka's Benjy Forrest played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brookes Barugh in the 77th minute of play. JK Tammeka's Larry Tinsley pulled a muscle in his leg after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to Bindi FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Russ Houldsworth hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute of the match Stew Newham sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matthew Mcenally skillfully saved the ball. 84 minutes into the match, JK Tammeka's Arneil Baxter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matthew Mcenally narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Brookes Barugh came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Bindi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brookes Barugh couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the game, one of JK Tammeka:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Benjy Forrest, was totally fooled by Bindi FC's Bryanne Unicomb, who 95 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Russ Houldsworth might have been able to make a better finish in the 99th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjy Forrest. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Russ Houldsworth ran back to his position shaking his head. Bindi FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
