Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Bryan Swan kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliot Everett in the 7th minute of play forced Tarraginnie's goalkeeper Sabastian Mackney to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Howard Grieve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humphry Mcmillan having to interfere. Wardell's Humphry Mcmillan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolph Lewry in the 15th minute of play. Brian Surman hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Bryan Swan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tarraginnie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wardell the free kick. In the 24th minute, Bryan Swan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humphry Mcmillan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Swan in the 28th minute of the match. With a little luck, Wardell's Humphry Mcmillan got control of the ball when Howard Grieve tried to sneak it across the goal line. Humphry Mcmillan made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Howard Grieve sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Tarraginnie booed when Wardell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Plank didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bryan Swan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Humphry Mcmillan having to make a save. Bryan Swan got his second yellow card in the match during the 44th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The audience thought a goal was coming when Howard Grieve got free with Humphry Mcmillan in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th minute Adolph Lewry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humphry Mcmillan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elliot Everett to make the kick off. After 52 played minutes Wardell got a freekick which was hit by Abraham Plank. Abraham Plank's late challenge caught a Tarraginnie's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abraham Plank helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th minute Howard Grieve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humphry Mcmillan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Tarraginnie's Howard Grieve nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Humphry Mcmillan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 61 played minutes Wardell got a freekick which was hit by Berry Mackney. Howard Grieve fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humphry Mcmillan having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute, Brian Surman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 80th minute, Howard Grieve left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tarraginnie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 83 minutes into the match, Elliot Everett dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sabastian Mackney, 4-1. In the 89th minute, Howard Grieve made a precise shot to the right of Humphry Mcmillan. Wardell's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1.
