Brock Hunn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Swan in the 4th minute of the match. Bryan Ryan charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bryan Ryan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bryan Ryan hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Howard Grieve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Brock Hunn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Howard Grieve got free with Brock Hunn in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jarrett Guy in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sabastian Mackney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adolph Lewry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Brock Hunn made a huge save. Brock Hunn made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Howard Grieve sent off a good shot on target. Adolph Lewry kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Brock Hunn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Tarraginnie's Adolph Lewry slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brock Hunn. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. 44 minutes into the game, Milton Millgate was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nairne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tarraginnie the free kick. Milton Millgate kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Brock Hunn made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Howard Grieve sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Howard Grieve to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Tarraginnie got a corner. Nairne's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Brendon Thorne ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 57 minutes, Howard Grieve mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tarraginnie and the Nairne players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tarraginnie getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Howard Grieve hit a great ball. Brock Hunn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Howard Grieve, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Nairne's Brock Hunn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolph Lewry in the 63rd minute of play. Jarrett Guy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabastian Mackney having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Raymond Lester hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kris Magnay took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sabastian Mackney. Tarraginnie's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tarraginnie's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
