With a couple of smart ball manuevers Otto Kuskopf in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bent Tinsley saved Marms FC from getting behind. Nilson Copelin took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bent Tinsley. Bent Tinsley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Best Stevenson's late challenge caught a Marms FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Best Stevenson helped the player get up and apologised. Best Stevenson kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. If Drew Sanderson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the game, Handley Christini was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Catanzaro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marms FC the free kick. Handley Christini hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nilson Copelin got free with Bent Tinsley in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Otto Kuskopf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Bent Tinsley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Marms FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everett Shipp to maneuver through the defense. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Drew Sanderson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nilson Copelin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bent Tinsley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bent Tinsley came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Catanzaro FC's Otto Kuskopf. But to his dismay, Otto Kuskopf quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Jeremy Couzens put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Bert Edwards. Everett Shipp's late challenge caught a Catanzaro FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Everett Shipp helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Otto Kuskopf in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bent Tinsley prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeremy Couzens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bert Edwards having to interfere. A collision led to Marms FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Eavan Couzens hit a great ball. Jeremy Couzens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bent Tinsley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nilson Copelin, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Everett Shipp hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Catanzaro FC fully deserved thier win.
