Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elliot Everett made the kick off which started today's match. Humphry Mcmillan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregory Cochrane, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 12th minute, Elliot Everett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elliot Everett was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 18th minute. Wardell's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 19 minutes into the game, Case Walsh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wardell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gracemere the free kick. The supporters of Gracemere booed when Wardell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Case Walsh didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Hans Goring had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elliot Everett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Elliot Everett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elliott Watman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Gracemere's zone, Elliot Everett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elliott Watman came out of the goal and Elliot Everett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Wardell's Brian Surman got a free kick in the 38th minute. Humphry Mcmillan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Cochrane in the 42nd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Wardell's Elliot Everett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elliott Watman narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darrell Calver made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Lawrance Tauschke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elliot Everett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Elliott Watman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wardell's Elliot Everett got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gracemere's Darrell Calver got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elliott Watman came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Wardell's Elliot Everett. But to his dismay, Elliot Everett quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 67 minutes into the game, Elliot Everett was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wardell's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gracemere the free kick. In the 68th minute, Elliot Everett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elliot Everett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humphry Mcmillan was a little too slow when Gregory Cochrane got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-1. Humphry Mcmillan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Darrell Calver, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Wardell's Brian Surman got a free kick in the 81st minute. Boyd Beins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wardell were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Gracemere to leave the ground with a draw.
