Howard Morey took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Russel Trevena. Eskdale's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Howard Grieve took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Russel Trevena. Russel Trevena dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Russel Trevena was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Bryan Swan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bryan Swan really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Russel Trevena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bryan Swan's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Bryan Swan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Howard Grieve came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Russel Trevena could save by the left post. Bryan Swan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Russel Trevena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Russel Trevena made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Howard Grieve sent off a good shot on target. After 37 played minutes Eskdale got a freekick which was hit by Hale Mcgirr. Adolph Lewry's late challenge caught a Eskdale's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolph Lewry helped the player get up and apologised. Edward Wharton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bryan Swan to make the kick off. When the match clock showed 64 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Howard Grieve sped through Eskdale's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Russel Trevena. After a defensive mix-up in Eskdale's zone, Bryan Swan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Russel Trevena came out of the goal and Bryan Swan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the match, Tarraginnie's goal looked a bit too open when Hale Mcgirr came free, but Sabastian Mackney reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Eskdale's goal looked a bit too open when Bryan Swan came free, but Russel Trevena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Russel Trevena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Howard Grieve went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Russel Trevena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryan Swan in the 91st minute of the match. When Howard Grieve came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Tarraginnie fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Howard Grieve couldn't finish the play. Howard Grieve scored 5-0 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Russel Trevena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tarraginnie's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
