Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elliot Everett made the kick off which started today's match. If Elliot Everett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Wardell! The referee gave AI FC a penalty, 22 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Damian Meyers, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Wardell's Humphry Mcmillan. 0-1. Hans Goring received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Darian Lenard came out and tried to block the shot, but Hans Goring slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 30th minute. 36 minutes into the match, AI FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elliot Everett came free, but Darian Lenard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wardell's Elliot Everett got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, AI FC's Brock Behla got a free kick in the 39th minute. Humphry Mcmillan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Loch in the 44th minute of play. Darian Lenard was out of position in the 45 minute of play, and Elliot Everett capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elliot Everett really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernie Tarrant to strike the kick off in the second half. Darian Lenard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elliot Everett, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Abraham Plank's late challenge caught a AI FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abraham Plank helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th match minute, Wardell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abraham Plank to maneuver through the defense. When Wardell's Elliot Everett in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AI FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80thth minute of the game Elliot Everett who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AI FC's Darian Lenard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wardell's Humphry Mcmillan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernie Tarrant in the 84th minute of play. Abraham Plank hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boyd Beins during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
