Seating: 1845, VIP seats: 159) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jarrett Guy started the match with the kick off. When Earl Collings fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eskdale's protests and gave Earl Collings a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Eskdale's Earl Collings got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Jarrett Guy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Russel Trevena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jarrett Guy in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Russel Trevena saved Eskdale from getting behind. If Edward Wharton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Earnest Park hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute Jarrett Guy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russel Trevena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Nairne's Brock Hunn got control of the ball when Bud Mosley tried to sneak it across the goal line.
The wind increased when Edward Wharton made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Eskdale's Edward Wharton got a free kick in the 54th minute. After 57 played minutes Nairne got a freekick which was hit by Earnest Park. After 64 played minutes Nairne got a freekick which was hit by Jackson Erwin. In the 65th minute of the match Conner Thorne sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Brock Hunn skillfully saved the ball. In the 67th minute Edward Wharton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brock Hunn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, Eskdale's goal looked a bit too open when Jarrett Guy came free, but Russel Trevena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Jackson Erwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Milton Millgate came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Nairne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milton Millgate couldn't finish the play. Jarrett Guy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Russel Trevena was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Earnest Park capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Earnest Park really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. Jarrett Guy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Russel Trevena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute Jarrett Guy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Russel Trevena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nairne's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
