Tarraginnie's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Howard Grieve recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bryan Swan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Elliott Watman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Howard Grieve might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elliott Watman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Howard Grieve ran back to his position shaking his head. Howard Grieve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Swan in the 31st minute of play forced Gracemere's goalkeeper Elliott Watman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Gracemere's Murdock Everett got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Gracemere's Elliott Watman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bryan Swan in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Darrell Calver made the kick off in the second half. Darrell Calver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Elliott Watman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Howard Grieve in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Bryan Swan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tarraginnie fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Bryan Swan might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elliott Watman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bryan Swan ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Bryan Swan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarraginnie's supporters rose to their feet, but Bryan Swan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elliott Watman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Gracemere getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Phillip Claringbold hit a great ball. Gracemere's Elliott Watman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Howard Grieve in the 97th minute of play.
