Spectators: 6842 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henry Slattery started the match with the kick off. After 2 minutes, Clark Pearce mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bungunya and the Bargies FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Clark Pearce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danton Marsland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Keith Deeth went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Keith Deeth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 13th minute, Keith Deeth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 17th minute, Jason Powell made a precise shot to the right of Darren Moorby. Bargies FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Danton Marsland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benson Bromfield in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Bungunya getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Jason Powell hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keith Deeth in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Danton Marsland saved Bungunya from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Christian Toomey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jason Powell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Darren Moorby made a huge save. Benson Bromfield received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Danton Marsland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Barry Powell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danton Marsland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benson Bromfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Keith Deeth to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Keith Deeth dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Danton Marsland, 1-2. In the 56th minute Keith Deeth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danton Marsland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Clark Pearce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Danton Marsland had great luck who in the 68thth minute grab hold of the ball when Keith Deeth from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Keith Deeth did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-3 to the left of a surprised Danton Marsland 79 minutes into the match. Darren Moorby showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jason Powell, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Bargies FC's Darren Moorby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Slattery in the 89th minute of play. A collision led to Bungunya getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Douglas Wharton hit a great ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Keith Deeth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bargies FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Keith Deeth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match was over Bargies FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bungunya throughout the match.
