Independiente's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Downing Guy scored to the left of an out of position Blade Knevett, making the score, 1-1. In the 15th minute, Rod Glover hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Russel Huther took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Braedan Raison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Braedan Raison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brandon Maciver could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Blade Knevett made a huge save. After 23 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club A. Independiente! The goalkeeper, Blade Knevett, was totally fooled by The Z Team's Carlton Wenham, who 25 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 33rd minute, Cole Hollis made a precise shot to the right of Russel Huther. The Z Team's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Cole Hollis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russel Huther having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Braedan Raison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club A. Independiente's supporters rose to their feet, but Braedan Raison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Russel Huther breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Braedan Raison made a kick off. Keefer Samuels kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Cole Hollis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Blade Knevett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Downing Guy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrick Breasley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Blade Knevett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Downing Guy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Keefer Samuels got his second yellow card in the match during the 88th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Club A. Independiente getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Keefer Samuels hit a great ball. Patrick Breasley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
