After 8 minutes, Everitt Schultz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Highett and the Bargies FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Everitt Schultz kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Bargies FC's Benson Bromfield got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benson Bromfield who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 18thth minute tested the skills of Nash Cuddihy when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, Highett's goalkeeper Nash Cuddihy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benson Bromfield. In the 26th minute, Benson Bromfield got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Keith Deeth cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Nash Cuddihy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Highett getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Bryan Haberle hit a great ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Keith Deeth who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Highett's Nash Cuddihy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benson Bromfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benson Bromfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benson Bromfield struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Nash Cuddihy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bargies FC. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Everitt Schultz made the kick off in the second half. Nash Cuddihy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benson Bromfield, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 61st minute, Highett's Everitt Schultz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Darren Moorby. Darren Moorby yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The supporters of Bargies FC booed when Highett was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Case Staggard didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Bargies FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Donovan Hoskin hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Bargies FC's zone, Everitt Schultz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darren Moorby came out of the goal and Everitt Schultz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute Everitt Schultz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Moorby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Darren Moorby was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Everitt Schultz capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Everitt Schultz really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everitt Schultz in the 81st minute of play forced Bargies FC's goalkeeper Darren Moorby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bargies FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Benson Bromfield hit a great ball. Laurence Foley struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. In the 87th match minute, Highett was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Case Staggard to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benson Bromfield in the 88th minute of play forced Highett's goalkeeper Nash Cuddihy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keith Deeth might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nash Cuddihy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Keith Deeth ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Highett booed when Bargies FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calvin Dowsing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Everitt Schultz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darren Moorby having to interfere. In the 95th minute Everitt Schultz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darren Moorby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
