A collision led to Welford getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Burtt Mcquinn hit a great ball. Loyd Plummer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerrard Simpson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Martyon Crane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Sam Behla managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Welford's Carman Mccormick fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 45 minutes of play, Blackened FC's Jerrard Simpson made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loyd Plummer was left in no man's land by his defense there!

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jerrard Simpson was the one to do the kick off. Martyon Crane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sam Behla having to interfere. Welford's Loyd Plummer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Welford from getting a goal against them. Sam Behla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carman Mccormick, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute Carman Mccormick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sam Behla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60thth minute of the game Carman Mccormick who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Blackened FC's Sam Behla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jerrard Simpson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 70 minutes, Martyon Crane managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Welford's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martyon Crane was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Welford's Carman Mccormick nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sam Behla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Jerrard Simpson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Welford's Loyd Plummer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Welford from getting a goal against them. Loyd Plummer was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Andy Howarth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Andy Howarth really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Blackened FC's Andrew Benton shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 94th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Loyd Plummer but with some difficulty. Blackened FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
