Spectators: 6833 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1833, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henry Slattery started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes in the game, Henry Slattery fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Richard Durbin having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Anthony Didlick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Henry Slattery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anthony Didlick hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Stanley's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Henry Slattery 18 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. If Henry Slattery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Slattery sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Bungunya getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Douglas Wharton hit a great ball. When Brooks Cawthorne came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Stanley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brooks Cawthorne couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Bungunya's Clark Pearce got a free kick in the 28th minute. Danton Marsland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brooks Cawthorne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Richard Durbin made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Jason Powell sent off a good shot on target. Brooks Cawthorne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danton Marsland having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bungunya's Douglas Wharton got a free kick in the 46th minute. Danton Marsland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bath Colman in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bath Colman was the one to do the kick off. Danton Marsland came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Stanley's Bath Colman. But to his dismay, Bath Colman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Brooks Cawthornes short, quick shot in the 58thth minute got Danton Marsland to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Clark Pearce's late challenge caught a Stanley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clark Pearce helped the player get up and apologised. Clark Pearce kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Danton Marsland was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Bryanne Freel. Richard Durbin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jason Powell went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Richard Durbin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henry Slattery in the 83rd minute of the match. Richard Durbin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Powell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 88 minutes of play, Stanley's Brooks Cawthorne made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Danton Marsland was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Douglas Wharton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bungunya were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
