When Bryant Durbridge came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Jimmy Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryant Durbridge couldn't finish the play. Blade Knevett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Millar in the 15th minute of the match. Jimmy Team's Tom Millar got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Bryant Durbridge came free, but Blade Knevett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ike Coldicutt fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club A. Blade Knevett came out of the goal and Stew Dollymore tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Club A. Independiente defense, Tom Millar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blade Knevett. The Club A. Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blade Knevett should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Tom Millar put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Blade Knevett. After a rather tough play, Club A. Independiente's Cole Hollis got a free kick in the 44th minute. Blade Knevett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tom Millar in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Braedan Raison was the one to do the kick off. Independiente's Blade Knevett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tom Millar in the 60th minute of play. A collision led to Jimmy Team getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Chuck Shearn hit a great ball. After 64 played minutes, Club A. Independiente's Fabian Breasley shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jess Vickery came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Club A. Independiente reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tom Millar in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Blade Knevett prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Chuck Shearn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Blade Knevett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tom Millar went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Club A. Independiente's zone, Tom Millar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blade Knevett came out of the goal and Tom Millar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The attack was good, but when Tom Millar in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The Club A. Independiente fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Jimmy Team were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
