Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1400, VIP seats: 100) Everitt Schultz made the kick off and thus started the match. Laurence Foley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 8 played minutes Highett got a freekick which was hit by Pete Warhurst. 18 minutes into the match, Highett's goal looked a bit too open when Braedan Raison came free, but Nash Cuddihy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Club A. Independiente's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by George Argoud in the 20th minute. Club A. Independiente's Blade Knevett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everitt Schultz in the 29th minute of play. 38 minutes into the game, Club A. Independiente's Braedan Raison nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nash Cuddihy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 58th minute, Braedan Raison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Highett's goalkeeper Nash Cuddihy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cole Hollis. After having played for 65 minutes, Laurence Foley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Highett's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laurence Foley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Blade Knevett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everitt Schultz in the 69th minute of play. Nash Cuddihy made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Cole Hollis sent off a good shot on target. Club A. Independiente were awarded a corner in the 74th minute after Highett's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. George Argoud took the corner. George Argoud made a great header on Club A. Independiente's corner, it was just that Highett's Nash Cuddihy managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Case Staggard in the 76th minute of play forced Club A. Independiente's goalkeeper Blade Knevett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Laurence Foley came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Highett fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurence Foley couldn't finish the play. Bran Turnor kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cole Hollis got free with Nash Cuddihy in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Club A. Independiente walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
