Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Club A. Independiente's goal looked a bit too open when Bath Colman came free, but Blade Knevett reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Stanley fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! The supporters of Club A. Independiente booed when Stanley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edison Beins didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ike Coldicutt hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When Keefer Samuels fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club A. Independiente's protests and gave Keefer Samuels a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 24 minutes, Bath Colman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stanley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bath Colman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bath Colman in the 27th minute of play forced Club A. Independiente's goalkeeper Blade Knevett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Braedan Raison took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Durbin. Richard Durbin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bath Colman in the 34th minute of play forced Club A. Independiente's goalkeeper Blade Knevett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Durbin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cole Hollis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ike Coldicutt got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Club A. Independiente getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Ike Coldicutt hit a great ball. Bath Colman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Blade Knevett having to make a save. In the 42nd minute Brooks Cawthorne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blade Knevett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Club A. Independiente's Blade Knevett got control of the ball when Brooks Cawthorne tried to sneak it across the goal line.

After some careless play in the Club A. Independiente defense, Bath Colman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Blade Knevett. The Club A. Independiente fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Blade Knevett should have stopped the shot. Cole Hollis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Richard Durbin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anthony Didlick's late challenge caught a Club A. Independiente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anthony Didlick helped the player get up and apologised. Anthony Didlick kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the game, Stanley's Bath Colman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blade Knevett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Fabian Breasley's late challenge caught a Stanley's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Breasley helped the player get up and apologised. 82 minutes into the game, one of Club A. Independiente:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 88th minute Bath Colman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Blade Knevett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blade Knevett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bath Colman's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Club A. Independiente's Blade Knevett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bath Colman in the 95th minute of play. Cole Hollis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Richard Durbin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Stanley fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club A. Independiente had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
