To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute, Henry Slattery left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bungunya fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. When Braedan Raison came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Club A. Independiente fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Braedan Raison couldn't finish the play. Bungunya's Danton Marsland played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Braedan Raison in the 29th minute of play. Cole Hollis struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Danton Marsland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club A. Independiente. Blade Knevett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jason Powell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bungunya getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Clark Pearce hit a great ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braedan Raison to make the kick off. Ike Coldicutt charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ike Coldicutt the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club A. Independiente getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ike Coldicutt hit a great ball. Cole Hollis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Danton Marsland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes of play Club A. Independiente's Ike Coldicutt was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Bungunya booed when Club A. Independiente was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ike Coldicutt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Jason Powell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jason Powell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Blade Knevett having to interfere. If Henry Slattery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jason Powell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 73 played minutes Bungunya's Jason Powell stole the ball from his opponents and shot the ball towards the upper left corner, but Blade Knevett stretched himself as far as he could, and stopped the ball from passing the line. robbing Club A. Independiente of the goal. If Jason Powell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jason Powell could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Blade Knevett made a huge save. Henry Slattery's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blade Knevett read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play.
