A very good chance. 12 minutes into the game, Hale Delbridge was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kayuga's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Odysseia the free kick. The supporters of Odysseia booed when Kayuga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hale Delbridge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kirby Stebbing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Russ Belford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruce Rhoades showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tom Skurrie in the 21st minute of the match. In the 35th minute Tom Skurrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Rhoades saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kirby Stebbing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Nelson, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Kayuga's goal looked a bit too open when Russ Belford came free, but Kirby Stebbing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 49th minute Tom Skurrie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Rhoades saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tom Skurrie was the one to do the kick off. Hale Delbridge hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. If Ian Nelson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaffery Schutt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Rhoades having to interfere. Tom Skurrie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Bruce Rhoades tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 94 minutes, Biddle Coldicutt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kayuga and the Odysseia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Odysseia booed when Kayuga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Biddle Coldicutt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute Odysseia were awarded a corner. Remington Schutt went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Caine Merz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kayuga's Kirby Stebbing did a great save. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
