To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Grant Cochrane during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Bringagee was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grant Cochrane to maneuver through the defense. Loud Trenoweth took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ellis Benton. Bringagee's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Christopher Cudmore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ian Crawford in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolph Cubitt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Hans Andrusiow fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Beruna's protests and gave Hans Andrusiow a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute Ian Crawford shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolph Cubitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eden Mcgrath during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Beruna getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Eden Mcgrath hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the match, Brendon Adair notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Beruna's Adolph Cubitt. Adolph Cubitt was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lowrey Hinder's late challenge caught a Bringagee's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lowrey Hinder helped the player get up and apologised. 48 minutes into the match, Bringagee's Ian Crawford sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolph Cubitt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Brendon Adair made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Crawford got free with Adolph Cubitt in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Bryden Samuels got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Bringagee's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Cudmore came free, but Ellis Benton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adolph Cubitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brendon Adair in the 64th minute of the match. Adolph Cubitt made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Brendon Adair sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Beruna's zone, Brendon Adair stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolph Cubitt came out of the goal and Brendon Adair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Ian Crawford had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Bringagee's Ian Crawford slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Adolph Cubitt. That made the score 1-2 after 87 minutes of play. After a defensive mix-up in Beruna's zone, Paco Wal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolph Cubitt came out of the goal and Paco Wal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Bringagee walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
