Spectators: 7988 (Terracing: 5992, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 159) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brendon Adair made the kick off which started today's match. 6 minutes into the game, Keefe Venz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ellis Benton was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 14th minute Keefe Venz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ellis Benton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian Crawford got free with Connor Hanlen in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute, Ian Crawford fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. George Favas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Ellis Benton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ellis Benton came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Murmungee's Keefe Venz. But to his dismay, Keefe Venz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Murmungee's Keefe Venz got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Keefe Venz was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes in the game, Keefe Venz dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. The audience was convinced that Brendon Adair's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Connor Hanlen was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. If George Favas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Connor Hanlen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Crawford in the 71st minute of play. Keefe Venz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. George Favas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Ellis Benton skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Bringagee getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Remy Markwell hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keefe Venz in the 79th minute of play forced Bringagee's goalkeeper Ellis Benton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Ian Crawford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bringagee's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Crawford was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Connor Hanlen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Keefe Venz in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ellis Benton saved Bringagee from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Murmungee's Corbett Wenham got a free kick in the 84th minute. Keefe Venz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ellis Benton having to interfere. George Favas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murmungee played a much better game than Bringagee and deserved their victory. The Bringagee players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
