Spectators: 6848 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 0) Tooligie's Bill Oconnell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Irving Wenham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tom Eicke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesse Hess in the 6th minute of play forced Tooligie's goalkeeper Irving Wenham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bradshaw Mckinnes might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Reese King. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bradshaw Mckinnes ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Bradshaw Mckinnes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tooligie's supporters rose to their feet, but Bradshaw Mckinnes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reese King breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bill Oconnell in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Reese King prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Reese King took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bill Oconnell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Tooligie's zone, Tom Eicke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Irving Wenham came out of the goal and Tom Eicke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesse Hess in the 23rd minute of play forced Tooligie's goalkeeper Irving Wenham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Neville Sparrow got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 29 minutes, Tom Eicke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dululu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Eicke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Jesse Hess managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dululu's supporters rose to their feet, but Jesse Hess was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Irving Wenham breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Tooligie's Logan Kiel got a free kick in the 31st minute. If Jesse Hess had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bradshaw Mckinnes in the 38th minute of play forced Dululu's goalkeeper Reese King to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tom Eicke scored 0-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Irving Wenham, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jesse Hess made a kick off. Tom Eicke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Irving Wenham having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bill Oconnell in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reese King saved Dululu from getting behind. Jesse Hess sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tooligie's goalkeeper Irving Wenham, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Neville Sparrow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kenneth Busst received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Reese King tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reese King came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Tooligie's Bill Oconnell. But to his dismay, Bill Oconnell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Bill Oconnell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tom Eicke got free with Irving Wenham in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Irving Wenham came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Dululu's Jesse Hess. But to his dismay, Jesse Hess quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Tom Eicke got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 98 minutes, Bradshaw Mckinnes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tooligie and the Dululu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 98 played minutes Tooligie got a freekick which was hit by Bradshaw Mckinnes. The Dululu supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dululu would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
