Brand Whittington took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bryden Samuels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brand Whittington didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. If Marshall Tisdell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brand Whittington made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eden Mcgrath in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Bo Couzens shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolph Cubitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bo Couzens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolph Cubitt having to interfere. The Lambton fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 22ndth minute of the game Randall Smoothey who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Beruna's Adolph Cubitt was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 26th minute of the match Abbott Butterfield sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolph Cubitt skillfully saved the ball. Adolph Cubitt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bo Couzens's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Randall Smoothey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adolph Cubitt. Beruna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Randall Smoothey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Randall Smoothey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolph Cubitt having to interfere. Adolph Cubitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bo Couzens in the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Beruna's zone, Bo Couzens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolph Cubitt came out of the goal and Bo Couzens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Brand Whittington showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bryden Samuels in the 48th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Randall Smoothey was the one to do the kick off. Randall Smoothey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolph Cubitt having to interfere. Adolph Cubitt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bo Couzens in the 54th minute. 1-3 became the score in the 57th minute when Daniel Slattery elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Daniel Slattery during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 61st minute, Daniel Slattery hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adolph Cubitt was a little too slow when Randall Smoothey got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 1-4. Peter Bowen kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Adolph Cubitt was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Randall Smoothey showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 75 minute of play. Adolph Cubitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Randall Smoothey, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Bo Couzens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Adolph Cubitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 96 played minutes Beruna got a freekick which was hit by Hans Andrusiow. Lambton's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
