Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brooks Coote made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the Doolbi defense, Brand Schoenke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmonds Turner. The Doolbi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmonds Turner should have stopped the shot. Edmonds Turner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boyce Lunt in the 6th minute. Edmonds Turner was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Iggy Kurth showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 8 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brooks Coote in the 17th minute of play forced Middlefield's goalkeeper Matthew Markwell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Brooks Coote who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Middlefield's Matthew Markwell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Middlefield's goal looked a bit too open when Adolph Orvad came free, but Matthew Markwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Middlefield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Shortis to maneuver through the defense. Doolbi's Brooks Coote got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 33rd minute Brand Schoenke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmonds Turner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Doolbi's Edmonds Turner got control of the ball when Boyce Lunt tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brand Schoenke in the 41st minute of play forced Doolbi's goalkeeper Edmonds Turner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Middlefield was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bock Adair to maneuver through the defense. Middlefield's Matthew Markwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brooks Coote in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brand Schoenke to make the kick off. Matthew Markwell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brooks Coote in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Brooks Coote's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Matthew Markwell was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. The supporters of Middlefield booed when Doolbi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolph Orvad didn't get a good kick on the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Brand Schoenke notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Doolbi's Edmonds Turner. Edmonds Turner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boyce Lunt in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edmonds Turner saved Doolbi from getting behind. If Brooker Peplow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brooker Peplow's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Matthew Markwell skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Doolbi's Adolph Orvad got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Adolph Orvad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Doolbi's supporters rose to their feet, but Adolph Orvad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthew Markwell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jamese White kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 93rd minute, Bock Adair hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brand Schoenke fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edmonds Turner having to interfere.
