Gurulmundi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tigers United the free kick. Barney Tebbit lost his temper 21 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 21 minutes into the game, one of Gurulmundi:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Navarro Duggan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iggy Clist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Rodney Loch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nash Pears sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tigers United's Cole Odonahoo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Allen Lucas in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Rodney Loch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute Allen Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cole Odonahoo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Clinton charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Clinton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Tigers United getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Peter Clinton hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iggy Clist was the one to do the kick off. After 51 minutes, Rodney Loch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gurulmundi and the Tigers United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gurulmundi's Rodney Loch got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Tigers United's Iggy Clist got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Allen Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gurulmundi's supporters rose to their feet, but Allen Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cole Odonahoo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Gurulmundi's Nash Pears in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 65th minute, Peter Clinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Allen Lucas struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Cole Odonahoo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gurulmundi. After 72 minutes Tigers United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marco Berresford who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Gurulmundi's Marco Berresford to fire away a dangerous shot which Cole Odonahoo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Dugald Markcrow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allen Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Cole Odonahoo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Nash Pears had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
