Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bran Whittington got the match started through his kick off. Navarro Duggan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jarrett Fison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Gurulmundi's zone, Jarrett Fison stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Navarro Duggan came out of the goal and Jarrett Fison tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 11 minutes into the game, The Lebo Tigers's Jarrett Fison nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Navarro Duggan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Allen Lucas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paco Flisfeder having to make a save. Paco Flisfeder made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Allen Lucas sent off a good shot on target. If Bran Whittington had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allen Lucas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes, Abbott Collings mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the The Lebo Tigers and the Gurulmundi players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Allen Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, Bran Whittington reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paco Flisfeder. The goal made the score 1-1. After a rather tough play, The Lebo Tigers's Abbott Collings got a free kick in the 45th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arneil Prince to strike the kick off in the second half. Bran Whittington might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paco Flisfeder. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The Gurulmundi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Gurulmundi's Bran Whittington got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 81 minutes into the game, Tom Death was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Lebo Tigers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gurulmundi the free kick. After 81 played minutes The Lebo Tigers got a freekick which was hit by Tom Death. Paco Flisfeder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bran Whittington in the 82nd minute of the match. When Bran Whittington came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Gurulmundi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bran Whittington couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the match, The Lebo Tigers's goal looked a bit too open when Allen Lucas came free, but Paco Flisfeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Allen Lucas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Flisfeder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
