Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tigers United's Iggy Clist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 10th minute, Carsyn Phillips hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neale Peplow made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dugald Markcrow in the 14th minute. After 18 played minutes Iggy Clist rounded Beachlands FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Neale Peplow was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Iggy Clist capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iggy Clist really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The supporters of Beachlands FC booed when Tigers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabrizio Gray didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Beachlands FC's goalkeeper Neale Peplow had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dugald Markcrow. 33 minutes into the game, Iggy Clist recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Neale Peplow. Iggy Clist showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. Cole Odonahoo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Earnest Trezise in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute Earnest Trezise shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cole Odonahoo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Iggy Clist came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Tigers United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iggy Clist couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Beachlands FC's zone, Dugald Markcrow stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neale Peplow came out of the goal and Dugald Markcrow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Payne Frew made the kick off in the second half. Fabrizio Gray hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Payne Frew recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dugald Markcrow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neale Peplow having to interfere. When Earnest Trezise came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Beachlands FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Earnest Trezise couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the match, Beachlands FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabrizio Gray came free, but Neale Peplow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute Dugald Markcrow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neale Peplow saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by Beachlands FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lowrey Ambrose was slow to take the kick. During this time Tigers United's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Lowrey Ambrose got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Neale Peplow quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Earnest Trezise could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Cole Odonahoo made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tigers United had won after a very even match.
