Adolph Orvad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Boris Wang made a huge save. Boris Wang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brooks Coote, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brooks Coote in the 35th minute of play forced Jimmy Pizza's goalkeeper Boris Wang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Jimmy Pizza getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Jackson Quinn hit a great ball. Jeremy Moon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Boris Wang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Jimmy Pizza's Bernard Seistrup got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kevin Carragher to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jackson Quinn in the 59th minute of play forced Doolbi's goalkeeper Edmonds Turner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmonds Turner made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Irving Lander sent off a good shot on target. Brooks Coote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Jimmy Pizza's goalie and right to Brooker Peplow. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Jimmy Pizza's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Boris Wang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolph Orvad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Boris Wang came out of the goal and Brooker Peplow tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Lance Glover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lance Glover in the 96th minute of play forced Jimmy Pizza's goalkeeper Boris Wang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
