Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iggy Clist got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Landsborough's Brown Black sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cole Odonahoo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iggy Clist in the 7th minute of play forced Landsborough's goalkeeper Berry Brady to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 11 minutes, Brown Black managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Landsborough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brown Black was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 14 played minutes Landsborough got a freekick which was hit by Herbert Haberle. Brown Black received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cole Odonahoo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 39 minutes, Brown Black managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Landsborough's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brown Black was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cole Odonahoo came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Landsborough's Ray Calver. But to his dismay, Ray Calver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 46th minute Brown Black shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cole Odonahoo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Brown Black had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 51st minute, Neil Hart hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cole Odonahoo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ray Calver in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 57th play minute Brown Black came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cole Odonahoo. 0-2. After having played for 66 minutes, Dugald Markcrow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tigers United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dugald Markcrow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 71 minutes of play, Landsborough's Brown Black made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cole Odonahoo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Landsborough's Ray Calver got a free kick in the 81st minute. After a rather tough play, Landsborough's Herbert Haberle got a free kick in the 85th minute. Lowrey Ambrose took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Berry Brady. Landsborough's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ray Calver in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cole Odonahoo saved Tigers United from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Brown Black got free with Cole Odonahoo in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Landsborough played a much better game than Tigers United and deserved their victory. The Tigers United players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
