Spectators: 6854 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1854, VIP seats: 0) Doolbi's Brooks Coote started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Edmund Wenham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 5th minute, Doolbi's Lance Glover dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 15th minute Ronald Kidman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edmonds Turner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Brooker Peplow fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Doolbi's protests and gave Brooker Peplow a yellow card for diving instead. In the 15th match minute, Doolbi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brooker Peplow to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the game, Tommy Hands was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Doolbi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Booroorban the free kick. After 20 played minutes Doolbi got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Hands. After 22 minutes of play, Booroorban's Lewis Couzens made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edmonds Turner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edmonds Turner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Kidman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lewis Couzens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 minutes, Jeremy Moon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Doolbi and the Booroorban players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Brooks Coote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Doolbi's Brooker Peplow got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lance Glover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lance Glover could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Charles Dorrell made a huge save. 45 minutes into the game, Brooks Coote recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Charles Dorrell. Brooks Coote showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Lewis Couzens made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes Booroorban got a freekick which was hit by Eden Sperling. 55 minutes into the match, Booroorban's goal looked a bit too open when Brooks Coote came free, but Charles Dorrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Dorrell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brooker Peplow's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Adolph Orvad ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charles Dorrell was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Booroorban's Charles Dorrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adolph Orvad in the 61st minute of play. When Adolph Orvad came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Doolbi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adolph Orvad couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute Adolph Orvad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Dorrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 69 played minutes Booroorban got a freekick which was hit by Ronald Kidman. Brooks Coote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Charles Dorrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Adolph Orvad made a precise shot to the right of Charles Dorrell. Booroorban's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 80th minute Brooker Peplow shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Dorrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Brooker Peplow managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Doolbi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brooker Peplow was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adolph Orvad in the 83rd minute of play forced Booroorban's goalkeeper Charles Dorrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute Lance Glover shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Dorrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute Adolph Orvad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Dorrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
