The lochies fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Larry Boneheyo should have stopped the shot. Barry Keayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Kurrara defense, Bryanne Muggleton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bishop Clark. The Kurrara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bishop Clark should have stopped the shot. After the first half lochies were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Barry Keayes was the one to do the kick off. The lochies players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
