Spectators: 8029 (Terracing: 6023, Seating: 1846, VIP seats: 160) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Laurence Mcjunkins got the match started through his kick off. Cod Mcgaw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murdock Fallen, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Barry Keayes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Cod Mcgaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murdock Fallen in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cod Mcgaw saved Gondwana Baryonyx from getting behind. Murdock Fallen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Cod Mcgaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gondwana Baryonyx's Cod Mcgaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murdock Fallen in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Barry Keayes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cod Mcgaw was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry Keayes in the 17th minute of play forced Gondwana Baryonyx's goalkeeper Cod Mcgaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barry Keayes scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cod Mcgaw, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 24th minute Barry Keayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cod Mcgaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 26 minutes, Murdock Fallen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kurrara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murdock Fallen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 27th minute Barry Keayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cod Mcgaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murdock Fallen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Cod Mcgaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Gondwana Baryonyx got a freekick which was hit by Dakota Fazey. If Barry Keayes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Kurrara's Murdock Fallen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cod Mcgaw narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Brendan Bacon hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Barry Keayes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cod Mcgaw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Laurence Mcjunkins in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bishop Clark prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Barry Keayes to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Barry Keayes got free with Cod Mcgaw in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cod Mcgaw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barry Keayes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58thth minute of the game Barry Keayes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gondwana Baryonyx's Cod Mcgaw was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Laurence Mcjunkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Barry Keayes came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Kurrara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barry Keayes couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Murdock Fallen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cod Mcgaw made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Murdock Fallen sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Kurrara booed when Gondwana Baryonyx was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brendan Bacon didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Barnabas Watts in the 80th minute really tested Cod Mcgaw's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After 82 minutes of play, Kurrara's Murdock Fallen made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cod Mcgaw was left in no man's land by his defense there! With his leg Cod Mcgaw managed to avoid a goal in the 86thth minute, when Kurrara's Murdock Fallen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Bishop Clark took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Mcjunkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute Barry Keayes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cod Mcgaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremy Rennie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bishop Clark read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. The Gondwana Baryonyx fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Kurrara were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
