The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Loud Mewburn sped through Telita's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Andrews Barling. In the 14thth minute of the game Loud Mewburn who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Telita's Andrews Barling was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Bryanne Neich was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pimpana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Telita the free kick. Bryanne Neich hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19thth minute of the game Rusty Miels who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pimpana's Brian Diefenbach was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Telita getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Aron Coleman hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Nathan Sinden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pimpana's supporters rose to their feet, but Nathan Sinden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrews Barling breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aron Coleman kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Andrews Barling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Loud Mewburn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darell Morey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Loud Mewburn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Andrews Barling was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Andrews Barling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loud Mewburn in the 42nd minute of play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Loud Mewburn made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Pimpana's Barnett Stanton got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 54th minute, Clarke Collins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Loud Mewburn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andrews Barling. Telita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Loud Mewburn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 61 minutes, Loud Mewburn made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Telita's Andrews Barling tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 63rd minute, Loud Mewburn reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andrews Barling. The goal made the score 0-5. Loud Mewburns short, quick shot in the 68thth minute got Andrews Barling to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Andrews Barling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Loud Mewburn in the 71st minute. After some careless play in the Telita defense, Nathan Sinden kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrews Barling. The Telita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrews Barling should have stopped the shot. Loud Mewburn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrews Barling having to interfere. Arthur Aylwin hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Pimpana's Loud Mewburn got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Philip Staggard took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brian Diefenbach. Brian Diefenbach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. In the 86th minute, Kent Sobezak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Diefenbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rusty Miels, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 89 in the game by Loud Mewburn from a close distance when the talented Andrews Barling managed to make a qualified save. Telita's players were relieved. In the 90th minute, Philip Staggard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Telita's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Barnett Stanton 93 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-7. When the match was over Pimpana could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Telita throughout the match.
