Henry Turnor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loud Mewburn in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute Loud Mewburn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Turnor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clarke Collins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Turnor having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Halifax was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boris Tencer to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Halifax's Neal Moorby got a free kick in the 14th minute. Henry Turnor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barnett Stanton, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Loud Mewburn took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henry Turnor. Henry Turnor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 21st minute, Loud Mewburn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pimpana fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Loud Mewburn managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pimpana's supporters rose to their feet, but Loud Mewburn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Henry Turnor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Pimpana's Loud Mewburn in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Halifax's goalie prevented a goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henry Turnor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Neal Moorby charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Neal Moorby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Halifax getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Neal Moorby hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Loud Mewburn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Turnor was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. After the first half Pimpana were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The crowd rose to their feet as Pimpana's Loud Mewburn slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Henry Turnor. That made the score 0-6 after 53 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Loud Mewburn's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Henry Turnor was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Loud Mewburn in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Loud Mewburn who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Henry Turnor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Halifax's Henry Turnor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Halifax from getting a goal against them. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Loud Mewburn put it in 0-8 from a short distance just to the right of Henry Turnor. Pimpana's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
