With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bleyd Clist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Braedan Shipman kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Vânderson Souza was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Herbert Coburn showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. If Samuel Teuma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brooker Mcmahon struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Bleyd Clist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for South Beach. With an all-out effort, Nicholson's Vânderson Souza threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Herbert Coburn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 19 minutes into the match, South Beach's goalkeeper Vânderson Souza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barney Bonison. Braedan Shipman's late challenge caught a South Beach's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Braedan Shipman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nicholson getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Braedan Shipman hit a great ball. Vânderson Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Coburn in the 24th minute of the match. Dallas Jackson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The South Beach fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when South Beach's Brooker Mcmahon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 33 minutes, Brooker Mcmahon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Beach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brooker Mcmahon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 36th minute, Brooker Mcmahon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The South Beach fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. If Dallas Jackson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brooker Mcmahon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Bleyd Clist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brooker Mcmahon in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bleyd Clist saved Nicholson from getting behind. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Herbert Coburn to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Brooker Mcmahon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bleyd Clist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Burtt Beckwith sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Burtt Beckwith took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Bleyd Clist to make any attempt to save it. Barney Bonison kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Brooker Mcmahon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bleyd Clist was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Ivan Askew received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Vânderson Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Brooker Mcmahon managed to get in a good position for a shot. South Beach's supporters rose to their feet, but Brooker Mcmahon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bleyd Clist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 70 minutes, Burtt Beckwith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. South Beach's supporters crossed their fingers, but Burtt Beckwith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brooker Mcmahon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Bleyd Clist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. A beautiful save bye Nicholson's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Nicholson's zone, Brooker Mcmahon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bleyd Clist came out of the goal and Brooker Mcmahon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded South Beach left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Nicholson.
